Where Has April Gone?

Well I had a mad weekend las weekend and so didn't manage to get those colour carts on here, I'm really sorry. I'm still working on it...LOL

This Sunday I'm off on training with my fellow Passionettes, Swaps in hand (well not whilst driving...), and Sat Nav in car...I can't wait, lots of lovely new friends to make and lovely techniques and projects to pass on too....ohhhh can a girl have too much excitement?

When I've finished my swaps I'll post them...cute little blue whales on the way....

Stampin' Up! have just anounced that here in the UK we'll be getting loads of new colours in card and ink and ribbon...oh and just everything...its so exciting...I can't wait until October. In the US they have the colours from July, so there'll be plenty of samples to take inspirateion from.

The new colours mean that some of the old colours will retire at the end of September, so if you have some favorites, you've 6 months to save up some pennies to grab a pack.

This is just a quick post for now as I'm on my lunch break at work, but I should be able to link to the colour charts to show both the new colours and the retiring ones at the weekend, its been one crazy week.

Smell...Scrapbook Page

Smell the Knitted Flowers....

Finally, I've managed to get around to some scrapbooking, it's been 3 months, but I was so inspired by the Sweet Pea papers and stitched felt, I had to create this page as soon as I saw the photo...thank you for that.

The title I made from mirror printing "smell" on to Bashful Blue paper, at 218 gsm it goes through the printer a treat. I cut out the letters and then shadow stamped, with the swirl from My Sweet Pea in Bashful Blue and Chocolate Chip to create my own patterned paper. I've also stamped additional flowers in Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip and Tempting Turquoise again from My Sweet Pea.

The journaling is hidden, you can just see the tab, created from the Tab Punch, in the main catalogue, under the left side of the photo.

I just love the bird on this 12" x 12" paper, he comes as a stamp too as part of the stamp set, mmmm just thinking what to create next...he reminds me of that cheeky bird Mortimer in the children's stories...'never more, never more'
