Happy New Year!
Welcome everyone to my new blog, my very first one!
I'm an Independent Demonstrator with Stampin' Up! and I love crafting with paper. I've been papercrafting for about 5 years. I started sewing as a tiny tot; I've kept going embracing practically all crafts except knitting, I just can't get the hang of it.
I'm hoping that over the next few months you'll come along on my Stampin' Up! and blogging journey.
This is a little card I made using 2 stamps from the New Year's Celebration set of 6 stamps from Stampin' Up! One on the outside and one on the inside. I'm going to give one to all the local businesses I've used over the last year, to wish them luck in these hard times.
The Recipe:
Stamp the fireworks stamp from the New Year's Celebration set on to a piece of black card 6.5cm x 6cm using Versamark watermark stamp pad; lightly coat in silver Stampin' Emboss Powder; heat with heat tool to melt the powder and create a shiny silver finish
Attach the stamped and embossed rectangle with Stamin' Dimensionals to a 7cm x 6.5cm piece of mirri card (from your local craft shop); place Stampin' Dimensionals on teh back of the mirri card
cut a piece of black card to 15cm x 7cm; score and fold to create a base card 7.5cm x 7cm
place the fold of the base card to the top and attach the mirri card to the card front
open the card and stamp the greeting with Versamark ink; coat with emboss powder and heat as before.
